Battalion 15 Information

Battalion 15 encompasses the cities of Northridge, Chatsworth, Granada Hills, Porter Ranch. The Northwest end of the San Fernando Valley has long been known for its large horse properties. Although those are hard to find now, they have been replaced by sprawling $1million+ homes.

Battalion 15 has 8 Fire Stations and could easily use 3 more. Within its borders is one major Hospital and is adjacent to another Hospital, one of the remaining Trauma Centers in LA County.

Freeway close, the 118 Ronald Reagan Freeway connects the Simi Valley with the San Fernando Valley with 100's of thousands of commuters each day. One of the City's Hazardous Materials Squads in located at Fire Station 70 (with Battalion 15).
