The communities that make up the Battalion 14 area seem to be the heart of the valley. With the area in Battalion 14 covering North Hollywood, Studio City, Toluca Lake, and Sun Valley, there is much history along with diverse communities enjoying this quieter side of Los Angeles. Coming over the Hollywood Hills into the Studio City area brings many tourists into Universal City/Hollywood Studios, Warner Bros, and NBC Studios. We have two Metro stations; one in Universal City and the other in North Hollywood, that bring tourists and citizens to and from work from all areas of Los Angeles.

The lifestyles of and for the rich and famous are all over Los Angeles, but it's the quieter life, less traffic, and beauty of the hills and land that initially drew many to these areas that make up the Battalion 14 area.

We are so lucky to have many CERT-trained citizens in this battalion, and the numbers keep growing. A number of our CERT-trained citizens are very active and have expanded their skills and education, and I am fortunate to cross paths with so many. These wonderful people come from every profession and walk of life. But, there is this one thing we all have in common that brought us together, and that is CERT.

Battalion 14 Fire Stations: 60, 78, 86, 89, 97, 102, 108

The Battalion 14 Coordinator is Rees Barr.
