I have been teaching Cert for several years and am a retired firefighter.
for safety I teach my students about using door stops when searching a room. This to prevent the door being shut behind them and to let other search teams know that the room is being searched at that time.I wonder why this is not taught to instructors.

We were told to bring door stops.

The site http://www.vententersearch.com/pockets.htm has ideas for different styles of door stops, as well as other tools.
