NATCHEZ, MS (ADAMS COUNTY)

During times of emergencies, the CERT team, which consist of teachers and school staff, can provide immediate assistance to victims and give support to first responders. CERT members can also help with non-emergency projects that help improve the safety of the school campuses.

ABILENE, TX (TAYLOR COUNTY)
Communities In Schools Regional CERT

The Communities In Schools program, in conjunction with the West Central Texas Council of Governments, is providing CERT training to its teachers and other employees. The CIS program is represents a 19-county area. CIS works with at-risk youth through on-campus and after-school programs.

TEXARKANA, TX (BOWIE COUNTY)

It is our objective to train a number of the Texarkana Independent School District maintenance and support staff in CERT. They can be easily mobilized and would be a great resource for the district and community in the event of an emergency.

FARMINGTON, UT (DAVIS COUNTY)

We are training teachers and other employees in the district in the FEMA CERT program. We train a minimum of 6 people in each elementary school and 12 people in each secondary school.
