CERT Los Angeles 2004 BICEPP Challenge

On April 4, 2004, the BICEPP ERT Challenge for community teams was held at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

The CERT teams tested their skills by competing in a number of skill stations that were timed and judged by a panel of experts.

The skills stations in the event included: Fire, Triage, Medical Treatment, Lifting & Cribbing, Patient Packaging & Movement, Search, and Command Tent (radio communication and documentation)

Throughout the day, eight CERT teams (Snohomish County, Washington, and Burbank, Carson, Los Angeles - Green Hornets, Los Angeles - Palace Guards, San Juan Capistrano, Santa Clarita, and Simi Valley) trained and were tested on the seven events.
