|"Hermon ShakeOut: The Play" Earthquake & Fire Evacuation Drill was held on October 22, 2011. It was a first-of-its-kind community-based drill. Northeast LA tested out everything from CERT emergency rescue to neighborhood evacuations. Based in Hermon, but involving all surrounding communities, there was first an earthquake, followed up by a fire and evacuation to the nearest Neighborhood Survival Area (where residents were provided free survival goodies).|
On Saturday, April 21, 2012, we had our Tri-County CERT Refresher at Tejon Ranch in Lebec. CERT members from Los Angeles County, Kern County and Tulare County participated.
